Eva Moskowitz, leader of Success Academy, has dedicated her career to improving public education in New York City. Initially a City Council member, she transitioned to founding Success Academy to address systemic issues directly. Moskowitz emphasizes a child-centric approach, having visited numerous schools and held over 125 hearings. Success Academy, which started in 2006, now includes 32 schools and a high school, ranking in the top 1% in New York despite serving many low-income students. Her vision and dedication have significantly impacted thousands of children and families, bringing community spirit back to education as envisioned by the founding fathers.
